Wedding in Prague planning

In case you are still considering which wedding agency represents the best partner for your wedding, there is nothing easier than to contact us and let us present our services and price proposal. Our offer and communication with our wedding coordinator will soon reveal whether our attitude and services suits you. Even if the procedure described bellow looks long, according to our experience the whole preparation process can be finished within 3 weeks.

[1] Start communicating with us by sending an email or filling our enquiry form.

We have to learn the basic frame of your conception, your ideas and wishes. Quality of our first Preliminary Price Calculation / Offer depends on quality and range of information provided by the spouses. Your enquiry should always include following points (esp. 1- 5.):

• 1. Citizenship (both spouses)
• 2. Permanent address (residency)
• 3. Ceremony type – civil / church (+ religion)
• 4. Preliminary wedding term
• 5. Place of the ceremony (in case you already have decided for any)
• 6. Approximate number of guests
• 7. Additional services (in case you already have a basic idea)

[2] Check our preliminary offer

You will receive our Preliminary Price Calculation / Offer within 3 days after sending the enquiry. We usually respond within 1-2 days, but as there might be some issues to be checked at the Czech Registrar Office, we guarantee 3 days.

Our offer will always consist of the Wedding Essentials package and additional services. Wedding Essentials is a basic package that allows you to get married in the Czech Republic and to have the wedding act legally acknowledged in your home country. Additional services will be chosen from offer of our partners – professional companies specialized in provision of separate services.

We give you enough time to decide whether our service suits to you, our offer is time-unlimited. Not only we know, that you will most probably ask other agencies to propose their offers, but we even want you to do so. We know what we offer and are confident enough to not be afraid of the competition. The only figure we can not guarantee is a rate of exchange – CZK price will be decisive.

In case you decide our company is an appropriate partner for your wedding organization, we can go on.

[3] Provide us with required documents

After clearing up any additional questions we will send you a list of documents issued by your local authorities that are required to get married in the Czech Republic.

Legal requirements unfortunately differ from country to country so we can’t simply post here a detailed list of documents needed. Generally, you will have to propose following documents:

• a. PASSPORT – legal document declaring your nationality. Would be proposed after your arrival to the Czech Republic.
• b. BIRTH CERTIFICATE – original or a certified copy.
• c. CERTIFICATE OF NO IMPEDIMENT – document declaring your legal capacity to get married, status and permanent address. This document is usually issued by your local Registrar Office.
• d. DIVORCE LIST – in case status of any of spouses is “Divorced”
• e. WIDOW DECREE – in case any of spouses is widowed

All documents (except for the passport) have to be legalized by Apostile which is an extra paper or a stamp declaring authenticity of the document issued by your local authorities (UK: Legalization Department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London).

Provide us with documents according to our specification
Some of them can be presented in a copy but some unfortunately not. This is usually disposed by courier company (DHL/UPS/FedEx/PPL). We will of course do our best to ensure, that you are without these documents the shortest time possible.

Provide us with a signed original version of a Wedding Contract
You will receive an electronic version of the wedding contract together with the list of required documents. You will have enough time to go through it and to ask any questions that would have to be cleared up. As you are sure there are not any outstanding points you send us 2 versions of the signed contract together with all documents. One version signed by an agent of our company will send back to you.

[4] Additional adjustments

As we receive required documents, the signed contract and a deposit payment, we start the wedding preparation process - you can find the detailed description in the Wedding essentials package.

We bet that every day you have new and new ideas. That's quite normal when planning something so important as your wedding is, so please don't hesitate and let us know all these details, so that everything goes exactly the way you want it to.

During this “transition” period we will stay in touch with you and will kept you informed about the preparation process.

[5] Visit us at least two working days before the wedding

This is required so that we can visit Czech authorities, bureaus, sign the last documents and also visit the Czech foreign police office (for non-EU members).

Only some troubles you are spared by using our services

• Finding information about required documents
• Translating them and delivering them to the authorities
• Checking and booking the wedding term
• Hours spent looking for the best providers of your wishes
• Standing in the very unpleasant queue at the foreign police office
• Another bureaucracy after the wedding
